One of our members who built a life-size battle droid last year was at Fan Expo Cleveland this past weekend and got his droid signed by none other than Adam Savage!
We are starting to have hosted nights again for members and visitors.
Sue will host on Monday nights.
Jeff will host on Tuesday nights.
Wednesday night currently has no host available.
Ray will host on Thursday nights.
Rick will host on Friday nights.
Saturdays will continue to be build-out days until the building is completely ready for opening. All members are encouraged to come on Saturdays to help out.

Op zaterdag 29 maart 2025 vindt weer de jaarlijkse Internationale Open Hackerspaces Dag plaats. Ook wij zijn die dag weer geopend!
Van 11:00 tot 17:00 is iedereen van harte welkom om kennis te maken met Hackerspace TDvenlo. Diverse leden zullen projecten waar ze mee bezig zijn demonstreren en er zijn uiteraard rondleidingen door onze space.
Welkom in de Hackerspace?Zaterdag 29 maart tussen 10:00 en 17:00 doen we mee met de “Nationaal open hackerspace dag”. Tijdens deze dag kun je ons bezoeken in onze space aan de Marssteden 98 te Enschede.
In een hackerspace komen creatieve techneuten bij elkaar om gezamenlijk projecten te doen of gezellig samen een Club-Mate te drinken. Hiervoor heeft TkkrLab diverse ruimtes waaronder een eigen werkplaats en onze sociale ruimte.

When the Milwaukee Makerspace was new, we relied on donations and hand-me-downs for a lot of our equipment. In 2015, member Tom Gondek lent us a ULS V460 laser that he had used for one project. That project happened to be cutting PVC! It was his laser, so he can do what he wants with it. So when we received the laser, it was pretty corroded. Der Frühling naht und so soll das well-staffed-Treffen, am 7. März 2025, ab 16 Uhr für einen Frühlingsputz genutzt werden. Dabei soll entrümpelt, aufgeräumt und geputzt werden, sodass der Hackerspace wieder frisch ins neue Jahr starten kann.

Freiwillige sind dazu herzlich eingeladen. Nach der Aufräumaktion soll der Abend gemütlich ausgeklungen werden.
It is with sadness that I report that Warren Bumgarner has died. Warren was a Charter Member of FCW, joining within the first week of organization.
Warren had an MS in Industrial Arts from Appalachian State and taught Machine Shop at CCC&TI, then at WPCC. He was proficient in both manual and CNC machining, expert at MasterCAM, and was valuable in the Machining area at FCW. Handy with many things, Warren also helped with the wiring and wall construction at the previous space,
Electric Chair…2024 war ein unerwartet ereignisreiches Jahr für uns. Ohne Vorwarnung wurde uns unsere Hauptfinanzierungsgrundlage entzogen. Allerdings folgte danach ein Ansturm der Zuwendungen, der uns sehr berührt hat und zu der Entscheidung geführt hat, weiterzumachen. Insbesondere die vielen Spenden haben es uns ermöglicht, die schwierige Zeit abzufedern. Die vielen neuen Beitritte, die unsere Mitgliederzahl fast verdoppelt haben, machten uns Hoffnung, dass es auch ohne Werbeeinnahmen weitergehen könnte.…
