I would like to learn how to build a CNC router.

Bassett Furniture donates to FCW a very useful Sewing machine. I know it can sew all kinds of materials. I know it is a very, very good Sewing machine.

Come on down to any of the meetings on Saturdays at 3 or Tuesdays at 7. (Nov. 7 is “iffy” due to the Makerfaire). We have worked with scouts before and may have people who can help with your project.
I am writing to see if it might be possible to get help and work on a project at FCW. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to start or even if the project might be feasible.
I would like to do a nice, large instructional knot board that outlines each step for tying 7 knots. I am a Boy Scout leader for Troop 254 in Lenoir and have taken on this project as part of my Woodbadge training.
For my current level of ability, without help, this project would be a piece of plywood, and then stapling the…

Hi Alec! As a junior/provisional member I wanted to be first. No water cutting machine. Yes laser cutter and cnc. Unsure if metal can be cut on the cnc machine, but I know due to the refractive qualities on our laser cutter metal is a no-no.
I welcome you to come any saturday! Someone is always in the shop by 3 pm, often times by 1-2 pm (and sometimes earlier).
