Making a Mezzanine

Friday and the weekend also saw the creation of a new mezzanine area in the space, something that’s easy to say, but a lot more work to build.

A Crackling Festival of Modular Music

Farnborough has played an important role in the history of both aviation and our makerspace. Last weekend it was also host to a unique musical event.

The Modular Café Aldershot (MODCAF) a local community of modular synth enthusiasts organised a one of a kind musical event called TEST CHAMBER LIVE in Q121, a historic wind tunnel building.

A Toast to Making and Mending!

Our weekly members’ evenings continued with another varied range of projects, here’s some highlights from this week:

Matt, one of our director’s brought in a toaster that wouldn’t heat up. The label on the toaster happily announced that it was made in the UK by Michael and designed to be repaired.

Shoes, Drawers, and Leaves
