I built a mini lathe using a drill, and used it to turn styrofoam for a vase I’m currently designing.

My kids needed costumes for New Year’s party at school. 2013 was a year dominated by Minions from “Indespicable Me 2”.

How hard can it be!? Apparently not to hard although time consuming. Heads - paper-mashes formed on a bouncy ball,  body - upholstery foam, lights - transistors buffered bicycle lights with additional LEDs.

A 25mm pendant made as a birthday present, based on a Celtic knot a friend drew.

Using 0.5mm ply, with the 40W lasercutter engrave settings at:

• Scan gap: 0.05
• Speed: 200
• Power: 39

The Staubli Robot arm is now permanently cemented to the floor in the robotics area, heres a video of it running at full speed
