Hacktoberfest Hacklab Turussa – tiistaina 20.10.
Lokakuu on Hacktoberfest-kuukausi, ja me vietämme sitä avoimien ovien yhteydessä tiistaina 20.10. klo (viimeistään)18-20(aikaisintaan) osoitteessa Karjakatu 35b, Turku. Hacktoberfest on maailmanlaajuinen kuukauden mittainen tapahtuma, jossa kannustetaan osallistumaan avoimen lähdekoodin projekteihin. Idea on yksinkertainen: etsit projektin, teet siihen parannuksen ja lähetät pull requestin. Ei tarvitse olla konkari — dokumentaation korjaus tai käännös on yhtä lailla kelvollinen kontribuutio kuin uusi ominaisuus. Meillä paikan päällä: apua ensimmäisen pull requestin tekoon, jos git ja GitHub eivät ole ennestään tuttuja vinkkejä siitä, mistä löytää aloittelijaystävällisiä projekteja hyvää seuraa, joka koodaa samassa tilassa Ota oma läppäri mukaan. Tapahtuma on avoin kaikille, jäsenyyttä ei tarvita. Tervetuloa myös vain katsomaan, mitä labilla puuhataan. Hacktoberfest is a month-long global event that encourages people to contribute to open source projects. The idea is simple: find a project, make an improvement, and send a pull request. You don’t need to be a veteran — fixing documentation or adding a translation counts just as much as a new feature. On site we’ll have: help with your first pull request, if git and GitHub aren’t familiar yet tips on where to find beginner-friendly projects good company coding in the same room Bring your own laptop. The event is open to everyone, no membership required. You’re also welcome to just drop by and see what we get up to at the lab.
