I Love Free Software Day – Luxembourg
We often underestimate the power of a simple “Thank you”. Free Software contributors do important work for our society and they deserve to be recognised. “I Love Free Software Day” (IloveFS), promoted by FSFE and celebrated around the 14th of February in many countries, is the perfect opportunity for you to express your special gratitude and show your appreciation for Free Software. This year also our hackerspace, in cooperation with CLUSIL’s Open Source Working Group, will organise an “I Love Free Software Day” to celebrate Free and Open Source Software in general and to say “Thank you” to FOSS developers around the world as well as our local hackers and developers. Join us Thursday the 13th of February from 18:00 at Level2 for an informal meeting to learn more about Free and Open Source Software, what it means to you and what we can do to support it and promote it in Luxembourg. Agenda: 18:00-18:15: Arrivals 18h15-18h30: Welcome Message and Introduction 18:30-18:45: Presentation: I Love Free Software Day” and 2025 topic “Hidden Projects” 18:45-20:00: Lightning talks and open discussions: Open Source in Luxembourg, status quo and opportunities Open Source in education, an example to follow.
