Hacking insights was orginally planned for 25 June 2024, however Pixelbar is moving to a larger space so more people can attend. Due to the move, we’ve moved the hacking insights to Sunday 28 July 2024 On 28 July 2024 Pixelbar is hosting the people of Hacking Insights. Organizing a meetup filled with talks. The Hacking Insighs meetups have talks for all experience levels. Due to our current location the spaces are limited to 15, so please RSVP or join the waitlist on meetup . Can You Make It Bigger? - A Journey In Building Arcade Cabinets

This one started out as an idea. Dan Hardiker from Devoxx UK contacted me with an idea: “We want to make a bunch of games with our sponsors, and play them on a bunch of small arcade cabinets. But we also want to take the cabinets to a some other events.” I like small, well defined projects, and this one fitted the bill. We can do this. Small, well defined projects.

Making Stage Props for the Lottery Winners

Before Christmas, a group of musicians walked in to the space to talk about designing stage props for their upcoming UK tour. Up front I’m going to be honest, I had briefly heard of the Lottery Winners but had no sense of how big the band had become. The Lottery Winners are a local band made good, with a Number 1 album - Anxiety Replacement Therapy, and had performed last year at Glastonbury.
