Check out new classes, space updates, and ways to suppo! Happy October! We've got some exciting updates, news, and upcoming events to share with you all! Make sure you also check out our updated class offerings below to learn a new skill or gain more experience. Grand Opening Recap We want to thank everyone yet again who made our grand opening and online auction such a success last month! We wanted to share some of what you helped accomplish. We were proud to surpass our goal and have over 105 attendees to our event, raising $1058 dollars. Space Updates Through our GoFundMe, grand opening event, grant awards, and more, we've been able to invest over $90k in renovations to the space! Below are just a few of the improvements we've been able to make in the last few months: Completion of "phase 1" air conditioning in common areas Flooring completed Windows painted and in the process of being replaced With that being said, we still have many improvements still left to make! In the future, we'd love to be able to make our space ADA compliant, have drywall ceilings, make classroom renovations, complete part two of the floors, and much more!. Fundraisers like our upcoming Giving Tuesday help make these goals a reality. GivingTuesday is November 29th! For those of you that don't know, GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. To spread awareness and support nonprofits, Facebook matches all donations made ON GivingTuesday. We're gearing up to participate, and will have more news for you soon on how you can help support us and our goals in creating a more inclusive, accessible, and creative space.
