I am writing to see if it might be possible to get help and work on a project at FCW. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to start or even if the project might be feasible. I would like to do a nice, large instructional knot board that outlines each step for tying 7 knots. I am a Boy Scout leader for Troop 254 in Lenoir and have taken on this project as part of my Woodbadge training. For my current level of ability, without help, this project would be a piece of plywood, and then stapling the steps on with nylon cord. Our Troop’s previous knot board was similar to this — and now all the knots are long gone. I would love to have the opportunity in working on this project to learn about FCW, and woodworking in order to make something useful that will help Boy Scouts learn their knots for years to come. Can you help me, please?
