Für dein Handy gibt es keine Updates mehr und du möchtest ein freies Android installieren?

Für all solche und ähnliche Fragen steht wir in unserer PC und Handy Sprechstunde bereit. Komm einfach vorbei und wir versuchen dir zu helfen.

Wie in Repair-Cafes üblich: Wir liefern den technischen Sachverstand, Rat und auch Tat. Wir helfen wo wir können – aber du musst selbst Hand anlegen und mitmachen – denn das ist der Grundgedanke der Sprechstunde.

In this beginner-friendly musical hardware hacking workshop, participants building their very own TOUCH SENSITIVE DISTORTION AMPLIFIERIn this beginner-friendly musical hardware hacking workshop, participants will be guided through building their very own TOUCH SENSITIVE DISTORTION AMPLIFIER.
They will start by salvaging a speaker cone from a piece of discarded e-waste, and then will learn about connecting it to a simple audio amplifier circuit, known as the LM386. Once the speaker and amplifier are connected and powered, participants will solder the whole thing together and, using cardboard, construct a unique speaker housing that allows the circuit to be touched by human fingers.
When the circuit is touched, at two points, by human fingers, it causes it, to overdrive, essentially "shorting" it. This effect comes through as some of the most insanely dirtny distortion you've ever heard and it's amazing.NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE NEEDEDWho is this class for?For anyone who wants to amplify sound in a new and creative way.
No prior experience/knowledge needed.

One laser cut project, either the class default or a simple one of your own design (see below for details)Resistor Laser Certification, enabling you to use our laser on Craft Nights.Please bring the following to class:
A laptop with either Inkscape (free: download here: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.2.1/) or Adobe Illustrator installed.
A USB jump drive

Im Rahmen des Junghackertags lädt der CCC Chemnitz Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene zu einem besonderen analogen Nachmittag ein. Besucherinnen und Besucher können Wunschzettel und Briefe an den Weihnachtsmann oder das Christkind auf klassischen Schreibmaschinen verfassen – ganz ohne Bildschirm, dafür mit mechanischem Charme und dem vertrauten „Klack-klack-klack“. Eine besondere Station zeigt zudem eine Schreibmaschine, die mithilfe von ChatGPT wie von Geisterhand selbst Adventsgrüße tippt. Join us for a hands-on introduction to screen printing! In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics of the process and walk through each step!Join us for a hands-on introduction to screen printing! In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics of the process and walk through each step of creating a screen. Using vinyl stencils, we’ll quickly make screens and print custom designs onto t-shirts. You’ll get a chance to practice setting up, inking, and pulling prints, and by the end, you’ll have your own shirt to take home.
If you’d like, you can bring a simple vector design (think bold shapes and clean lines) to use for your screen. Otherwise, we’ll have some designs ready for you to choose from. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a t-shirt you’d like to print on. New shirts can also be purchased during the workshop.

This workshop will be taught by two instructors:
Woody Poulard (aka GRNCH) is a Brooklyn-based artist/musician whose work focuses on generative audio-reactive visual installations and performances. He uses creative coding applications like TouchDesigner to generate real-time visuals, Blender for 3D design, and Ableton for music production. Trained in both audio and mechanical engineering, Woody also makes physical sculptures using digital fabrication techniques like 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC routing.

Mean Gene is a member at NYC Resistor, an anti-surveillance advocate, an artist, designer, printmaker, and the head of product at a small cybersecurity startup

No previous experience is required, making this introductory workshop a great choice for anyone who's curious about getting started with hardware tinkering! All materials will be provided.

How to set up a file for cutting on the laser cutter in Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator.Laser cutter safety including materials testing.Laser cutter operation including configuration, cuts and raster etching in common materials like wood, acrylic, cardboard and others.At the end of class, you will go home with:
One laser cut project, either the class default or a simple one of your own design (see below for details)Resistor Laser Certification, enabling you to use our laser on Craft Nights.Please bring the following to class:

An SVG vector file of a simple shape you'd like to cut for your first cut.A piece of 1/8 inch or thinner wood, acrylic or cardboard you'd like to cut. If you can't bring your own material, small pieces will be made available, or larger pieces for purchase on site.Please be on time for the start of class! If you're late you will miss your slot.
This class will be taught by NYC Resistor member Woody. As with all NYC Resistor events, this class is 18+ and governed by our Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct, as well as accessibility information, can be found at www.nycresistor.com/participate/.

🏙 VR Night: Dive into DrMorro worlds

Вы точно слышали разное про VRChat, мб пробовали заходить и ничего не поняли, или поняли и пользуетесь социальными фичами. Однако, VRChat — это ещё и гигантская коллекция потрясающе красивых миров, созданных невероятно творческими людьми. Как там ориентироваться — это отдельный вопрос, но есть автор, чьи произведения особенно выделяются: это настоящее современное искусство, которому место в музеях. Лично я нахожусь в глубоком восторге от стиля, символизма, масштабности и детальности этих мест, и мне очень хочется пригласить туда побольше людей. В плейлисте 4 мира-лабиринта, по структуре похожих на наши сны; прохождение каждого занимает полчаса-час (если негде серьезно не застревать, не пытаться специально зайти во все тупики и не слишком бежать). Пост-советская эстетика, лиминальность, сюрреализм, очень много символизма (в котором даже иногда читаются связные истории).
Поочерёдный VR, проектор, стрим (hopefully).

Jeden zweiten Mittwoch ist unser Lötlabor und unsere Elektronik-Werkstatt offen. Wer seine eigenen Projekte umsetzen, sich mit anderen interessierten Personen austauschen oder einfach nur reinschnuppern will, ist gerne willkommen.

Parallel findet auch weiter der klassische LoRa Abend zeitgleich und zusammen statt. Das passiert nun alles zusammen an einem Abend, die thematischen Überschneidungen sind sehr groß.

(Hinweis: Wir sind kein Repair-Café. Wenn mal was kaputt ist, darf man gerne Nachfragen, aber es gibt keine Garantie, dass wir helfen können. Wir machen lieber Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe.)
