Our annual Robot Combat event is back - and bigger than ever! In addition to robot battles, our 2026 event will include the Southwest Virginia Showcase. This robotics showcase will bring teams from around the region to share their robot and offer hands-on STEM activities. Meet the teams, drive the robots, and learn how to get involved with your local robotics teams.

This summer five local teens gained woodworking skills and confidence through an eight-week summer program by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Virginia, Vector Space, and BWX Technologies. Working together under Vector Space instruction, students and mentors built a sandbox and shade structure for the Jubilee Family Development Center.
