Die globalgesellschaftliche Lage ist ernst und viele sind hoffnungslos. Wir wollen euch zeigen, wie man mit der eigenen Hoffnungslosigkeit umgeht und warum gerade wir, die im Tech-Sektor arbeiten und das Chaos zu dem machen was es ist, sich besonders gut dazu eignen basisdemokratische antikapitalistische Kämpfe auszufechten. On Tuesday, the 24th of March, we‘ll try a new kind of open evening: silent hacking. The goal is to offer an evening where one is able to hack without many distractions.

During this evening, we ask you to not speak, whisper, or otherwise disturb others (by eating, clicking pens, etc). Communication between people should happen via DMs or in the back room. Naturally, noises made by equipment (typing on keyboard, etc.) don‘t count.

We recommend wearing a nametag with a Matrix username…

On April 8th, 6 pm, we‘ll do an operating systems development workshop on the topic of drivers. You will learn how to write a driver for a microcontroller or Linux computer of your choice, that gets sensor readings from a Wii Nunchuk.

Feel free to bring your own microcontroller or Linux single-board computer, as long as it supports I²C at 3.3V. Nunchuks will be provided.

Am 8. April ab 18 Uhr…

Because it worked pretty well last time, we‘ll do another open talks session next Wednesday (11th March), from 8 pm. There is no schedule; bring your own lightning talks, drafts, bachelor theses, or other presentations and present them at CCCAC!

Weil es beim letzten mal ziemlich gut funktioniert hat, veranstalten wir nächsten Mittwoch (11. März, 20 Uhr) wieder einen offenen Vortragsabend im CCCAC. Es gibt kein Programm, bringt einfach eure Lightning-Talks, Entwürfe, Bachelorarbeiten…

Am 16. Februar ist bekanntlich Rosenmontag, da wird also viel Karneval sein. Für die Hacker:innen denen Karneval zu laut und anstregend ist öffnen wir unseren Clubraum für gemütliches Hack, ganz ohne Alaaf und Helau.

Start ist 14:00 Uhr, evtl. auch früher, schau dafür auf den Clubstatus.

Denkt dran das es Montags einen Umzug mit Route durch die Theaterstraße gibt und plant das bei der Anreise. Der Zug startet um 11:11, Geschwindigkeit und Dauer sind unbekant.

Am 25. Februar ab 20 Uhr veranstalten wir einen Themenabend über Spieleentwicklung und -design.

Egal ob du einfach gern spielst, neugierig bist, wie Spiele entstehen, oder selbst an einem Projekt bastelst: Komm vorbei! Bring dein Projekt mit oder lehn dich einfach zurück und hör zu.

For everyone who isn‘t going to the 39th Chaos Communication Congress, we‘re bringing the congress feeling back to Aachen. We‘ll be watching talks from 27th to 30th December.

Please check the club status or ask via Matrix to make sure the club is open before you come.
