ChattLab Member Onboarding Starting in 2017, new members should go through an onboarding process that ensures they have the tools and access they need to be a good Chattlab member, understand the culture as well as our general policies. Checklist

Materials Steel Steel is stored in the loading bay. Store on racks when possible. Material code rules apply. Wood Wood is stored in the woodshop, with long stuff on the racks, and sheet goods in the sheet storage area that is near the dust collector. Material code rules apply.

Member's Manual The purpose of this manual is to help explain operation of our space as well as many of its features. If there's something that you are unsure of and can't find it in this manual, please let us know. We might even ask you to add it to the manual once you find out what you needed.

Mother Mother is the automation account ChattLab uses to send out automated notifications and updates. Makerspace Operations, Tasks, Help, Equipment and Repairs.

High-Level Overview The script generates and updates an email body template with dynamic content based on specific Airtable data. It fetches relevant records, processes information (e.g., agenda items, tasks, and member details), replaces placeholders in an email template with real data, and updates an Airtable record with the final email body and status.
