Warp3 Open Day & Inauguration — 25 April 2026

After moving to our new space in Differdange back in December, it’s finally time to do this properly: you’re all invited to the official inauguration of Warp3 on Saturday, April 25th.

Syn2Cat and its members are supporting the first international conference dedicated to Open Source Software that will be held at the Terres Rouges buildings, Belval, the 1st of October 2025.

The conference aims to bring together local and international actors of the Open Source ecosystem specialised in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, CyberSecurity and EdTech.

After having operated our hackerspace – Level2 – for over 11 years from the second floor of the Maison de la Jeunesse in Bonnevoie (Luxembourg) we are now looking for a new location.

Don’t get it wrong, we love Level2 and will be very sad to leave our current premises. Over the years our members personalized it with inventions, posters and Blinkenlights and have even acquired a little collection of badges, medals and trophies from all the events and competitions that we took part in.…

The 13th of February 2025 Syn2Cat, in collaboration with CLUSIL‘s Open Source Working Group, Code Club and Passbolt, joined many other hackerspaces in celebrating the “I Love Free Software” Day.

The informal meeting, held at the Level2 hackerspace, created an opportunity to meet with people interested in Free and Open Source Software coming from Luxembourg and the Greater Region including also a delegation from OpenSaar.

Despite never having announced that Level2 is closed, everyone was disciplined not to organize large gatherings. During the last months we got some requests if visiting is possible. To those we replied that alone is fine. This was well respected. Thanks to everyone.
