Hacking insights was orginally planned for 25 June 2024, however Pixelbar is moving to a larger space so more people can attend. Due to the move, we’ve moved the hacking insights to Sunday 28 July 2024

On 28 July 2024 Pixelbar is hosting the people of Hacking Insights. Organizing a meetup filled with talks. The Hacking Insighs meetups have talks for all experience levels.

Due to our current location the spaces are limited to 15, so please RSVP or join the waitlist on meetup.

We very much appreciate your contribution, and love it when the evening gets input from many people. So do you have something to talk about? Please come and share your insight!

Talks are about what we learned at our jobs recently, new hacking techniques, vulnerabilities, hacking projects, a CTF you played, research you have been working on, insights from certifications, recommended must-read books, or anything else related to hacking and security.

Unter dem Titel Schnelleinstieg Balkonsolar teilte 'unser' Henning letzten Mittwochabend seine Erfahrungen und allgemeine Infos zum Thema Balkonkraftwerke. Wir erfuhren, dass sich Balkonkraftwerke aufgrund der Förderung durch's Land MV insbesondere für Menschen in Mietwohnungen lohnen. Und, dass man in nur fünf einfachen Schritten zum Solarmodul auf dem heimischen Balkon kommt – dank einsteckfertiger Technik und unbürokratischer Kostenerstattung.

Wir laden euch herzlich ein, am 22. Juni ab 16 Uhr unsere neuesten Projekte aus den Bereichen Hardware, Software, Elektronik und Mechanik zu entdecken. Lasst euch inspirieren und werft einen Blick in unsere Werkstätten und Hackcenter. Es gibt viel zu sehen: von Blinkenlights und Projektionen bis hin zu unserem umfangreichen Lager voller spannender Materialien und Kabel.

Zusätzlich gibt es Kurz-Talks zu verschiedenen Hack-Themen und reichlich Gelegenheit, sich mit unseren Mitgliedern zu unterhalten: fragt uns alles, was ihr wissen wollt!

Für euer leibliches Wohl ist gesorgt: in unserer Küche bereiten wir frische Pizzen im großen Gastro-Pizzaofen zu. Dazu gibt es Mate, Tschunk und andere Getränke.

Natürlich darf auch die Musik nicht fehlen! Wir sorgen für die passende Stimmung mit guter Musik zum Tanzen, Chillen oder einfach nur zum Genießen.

Bringt eure Freunde und Mit-Nerds mit und erlebt mit uns einen tollen Tag voller Technik, spannender Gespräche und guter Laune.

The June edition was suppose to take place at Bitlair in Amersfoort, but because Bitlair is moving and rebuilding the space the June edition will take place at Pixelbar in Rotterdam.

At the print & Pizza evening everyone is welcome with an interest in 3D Printing. Are you an advanced DIY-builder, owner of a print farm, or just orientating before buying your first printer? Everyone is welcome at the Print & Pizza evening hosted at Pixelbar in Rotterdam.

Take your prints or even printer with you to show it to others, to ask questions or get help with problems. Together with the whole group you get tips, maybe someone can help you solve the problem and you get to know others with the same interest.

And of course there will be pizza. You pay for the pizza by Tikkie.

3D Print and Pizza Rotterdam is hosted at Hackerspace Pixelbar. We are at Schiehaven 15C, 3024 EC Rotterdam.

Note: It is Schiehaven 15C, not Schiehavenweg. Also some mapping options will show 15C as further down the road than it actually is. Google and Apple maps are correct.

If you’re coming with public transportation: you can go to Tram stop Schiemond or Metro Station Delfshaven and then walk towards the harbor. We are behind the lit up building “De Kroon”, the Schiehaven street itself is quite dark at the moment.

To access the space you need to go up a set stairs, we sadly don’t have an elevator.
