Wir schauen den Steam ab 20 Uhr aus der c-basse in Berlin zu folgendem Thema:

Der NPA ist diesmal Teil der Privacy Week Berlin und hat den thematischen Schwerpunkt „Videoüberwachung“.
Den Auftakt an diesem Abend wird Benjamin Bergemann (Vorstand) mit aktuellen Berichten aus der DigiGes machen. Außerdem moderiert er den Netzpolitischen Abend.
Benjamin Derin referiert über Entwicklungen und Hintergründe der Videoüberwachung.
Über den Stand der Proteste gegen die Ausweitung der Videoüberwachung und die Gesichtserkennung am Südkreuz/Berlin berichtet Moritz von ENDSTATION .
Rebecca Cotton und Nikolas Becker von der Berliner Allianz für Freiheitsrechte informieren über das „Volksbegehren zur Videoüberwachung“ und dessen Rechtswidrigkeit.
Marie Gutbub stellt zum Schluss die Möglichkeiten von Nextcloud Simple Signup vor.

Soldering is one of the most important skills you'll need for working with electronics. Come join us for an introductory through-hole soldering workshop. Soldering enables you to create sturdy connections between electrical components.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to use a soldering iron safely and effectively, and get plenty of practice with both soldering and desoldering techniques. We'll be soldering up some Game of Life kits - LED tiles that generate nifty animations.

No previous experience is required, making this introductory workshop a great choice for anyone who's curious about getting started with hardware tinkering! All materials will be provided.

This class will be taught by Resistor members Jared Klett.

Laser Cutting: Cut and Etch Your Own Designs with Our Laser Cutter

Harness the power of an Eplilog 60 Watt Laser! In this class you'll learn everything you need to know to make the ideas in your head become a reality with a laser.

In this three hour class, we'll walk through all the steps from idea to pressing the "go" button on the laser. We'll cover safety, basic file preparation, and learn how to do a burninate test to find out if a material is laserable. After the three hours, you'll have made a plaque for your door, a keychain, a simple box or something slightly ambitious. (There is lab time for laser cutting, questions and answers, and working with Inkscape, Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc.)

After learning the basics, each student will create a simple design and cut it on the laser! A $10 lab fee is included in the ticket price and covers your time on the laser cutter to cut and etch. We have a variety of scrap material to experiment with or you can purchase laserable acrylic, Delrin, illustration board, leather, or wood. Midwest and Revell make a variety of plywood, bass and balsa that is perfect for laser cutting. The bed size of our laser is 32" x 20" so buy materials accordingly. Keep in mind that large-scale, complex, multi-cut projects may not be appropriate for the class. Our goal is to teach you how to use the tool, not how to reinvent the Sistine Chapel in one afternoon.

Please bring a laptop and a USB jump drive. You may choose to upload and install Inkscape or a free trial of Adobe Illustrator before you come to class to get familiar with the software and start on a vector design project.
This class is required for coming in to do work on the laser independently. If you get inspired, you can come back and laser your objects on our Monday or Thursday Craft Nights. (See our website for more info.)

A class for 3D newcomers who want to learn the basics of creating 3D models and printing them. Your instructor will take you through key concepts of 3D printing, demo the technology on our printers, and lead the class through the design process of creating a model and preparing it to print. We'll talk about creating functional objects, creative objects, available materials, print reliability, and compare various printer models and features.

Please bring a laptop with working WiFi and a mouse with a scroll wheel. (You can technically get by without the mouse but it's STRONGLY recommended.) We'll be using free-to-use Autodesk software in the design portion of the class. To speed things along, please sign up for an Autodesk account at https://www.tinkercad.com/ It would also smooth things along if you download and install the latest version of Meshmixer in advance of the class. https://www.meshmixer.com/

Die Ulmer Wikipedia-Community trifft sich bereits seit Jahren immer wieder und tauscht sich aus, besucht die MitstreiterInnen in Augsburg, Stuttgart und darüber hinaus, und von 2016 bis 2017 fanden auch regelmäßig Einführungsworkshops für Neulinge statt.

Beim Aktionstag geht es ganz besonders um alle, die die ersten Schritte mit Wikipedia und ihren Schwesterprojekten wagen möchten.


15:00 Uhr Start im Verschwörhaus 15:15 Uhr Einführungsworkshop: Wie funktioniert die Wikipedia, und wie kann ich da mitmachen? (ca. 60 Minuten)

Wir machen Kunst - mit LegoRobotik und mehr! Kannst du es dir schon vorstellen? Klackende Zahnradgetriebe, Riemen die etwas antreiben, Töne die sich verändern wenn sich jemand nähert, Roboter die selbständig malen oder tanzen. Und alles bunt und wundersam. Vieles ist möglich - eure lustigen Einfälle sind gefragt! Die Basis bauen wir aus Lego, den Rest aus Papier, Folien, Draht, Stoff, Klebeband usw.. Das Verhalten programmieren wir am Computer. So entstehen mysteriöse Fantasiewesen und vielleicht eine Landschaft, in der sich alles dreht.
Am Freitag machen wir in den letzten zwei Stunden eine Ausstellung, zu der Eltern und Freunde eingeladen sind.
