this event will leave enough space for the other scheduled events on the day
We are doing a live edit TV studio this weekend at https://mozillafestival.org/ (we don't get paid to do this) would like to do a test setup and training on running the studio in the Quite space this wednesday from 6.30 till 9.00ish. The cameras will be restricted to that room and would like to make a few hackthemedia and hackspace shows if people are up for it. Meany of the people involved are hackspace members\, if anyone wants to get involved come along its DIY (:
We will be experimenting with remote cameras and live video from mobile phones mixed into the shows.

We met amazing makers and tech people at the Mozilla Festival the past weekend, some working on crazy projects, for instance the Octocopter http://www.flickr.com/photos/visionontv/6325956018/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/visionontv/6325224057/in/photostream We'd like to have the tech/makers from the festival come meet the hackspace crowd next monday evening in the quiet space for a special hack the media session on Open Video.
We'll have a beer while watching interviews recorded at the event, hopefully we'll build on the energy started at the festival. Also a chance for participants to show what they've done, what they're working on and possibly buddy up for new projects.
Sotirios is testing a new linux open source live-edit software which could replace the very expensive Wirecast. 1st test last Monday during our HackTheMedia meet-up and was very promising. Let's meet again next Monday for another presentation, suggestions, testing and beers!
If you want to have a look at the software here is a link: http://www.ws4gl.org/
